Women of the Word begins in the book of Genesis and goes all the way through to Revelation. The study is divided into sections by era, and women are welcome to join for individual sections, or attend the entire study!
Below are the Vision, Mission and Process for this study:
Vision: The vision of WOW is to inspire a hunger in the hearts of women to seek and know God, to become disciples of Christ, to grow in spiritual maturity, and to live purposefully through a deeper grasp of God’s redemptive story found in the Bible.
Mission: The mission of WOW is for all to become firmly rooted and built up in Christ and His Word, established in faith, and overflowing with gratitude. (Colossians 2:7)
WOW is also a training ground where leaders are developed, equipped, and released to serve others and build up the body of Christ (the Church). (Ephesians 4:12–16)
Process: The process of WOW is to trace God’s redemptive arc found throughout the Bible, through teaching and relational environments, and through life-on-life fellowship (mentoring and small groups) in which women encourage, teach, learn, and connect with one another.
